In 1931 a fishing boat hauled up a lump of peat from the North Sea with a carved antler point inside. Nobody wrote down where. In 2019 scientists chose 200 metres of sea floor from a map made of echoes, dredged it, and brought up a small piece of worked flint. Between those two boats lies the discovery of a drowned land the size of a country. This film follows the evidence: oil-survey seismic data, sediment cores, the Storegga tsunami, and the 2026 DNA study.
Narration in this film is a synthetic, cloned voice. Sources and image credits are in the YouTube description.
