In 1612 Galileo drew the planet Neptune and almost certainly never knew it. In 1846 it was found with mathematics. This is the full history of Neptune: born closer to the Sun, it probably migrated outward and shaped the Kuiper Belt and Pluto's orbit; it may have stolen Triton, the big moon that orbits backwards; it has the fastest winds in the Solar System; and as of October 2026, Voyager 2's single flyby in 1989 is still our only visit.
Narration in this film is a synthetic, cloned voice. Sources and image credits are in the YouTube description.
