The full 4.5-billion-year history of the planet Venus: possible oceans, a runaway greenhouse, volcanoes erupting today, and the missions going next. Venus is almost exactly Earth's size, made of the same rock and born from the same disk of dust. Today its surface is about 464 °C under air ninety times thicker than ours. So how did Earth's twin become this, and was it ever like home?

Narration in this film is a synthetic, cloned voice. Sources and image credits are in the YouTube description.
