Every other planet spins more or less upright. Uranus rolls around the Sun on its side, tipped over by almost 98 degrees, and we still do not know what did it. This is the full history of the planet Uranus: an ice giant that probably formed somewhere else, a catastrophe nobody saw, a musician who found it by accident in 1781, rings found from a flying telescope, and one brief visit by Voyager 2 in 1986 that may have caught it at an unusual moment.
Narration in this film is a synthetic, cloned voice. Sources and image credits are in the YouTube description.
